Comprehensive Percutaneous Fixation

About

ARTEMIS™ FUZE

ARTEMIS™ FUZE is a comprehensive titanium alloy fixation system indicated for fracture fixation, osteotomies, reconstruction procedures, and arthrodesis of the foot and ankle.

The ARTEMIS™ FUZE Beam System comprises 3.0 mm and 4.0 mm fully threaded, variable pitch cannulated beams in flat headed and chamfer headed options to address a variety of indications in the mid and forefoot.
The ARTEMIS FUZE system was designed to address a variety of indications such as: first metatarsophalangeal joint arthrodesis, lapidus arthrodesis, osteotomy fixations (Akin, chevron and scarf), proximal and distal interphalangeal arthrodesis, and fracture fixation.
ARTEMIS FUZE Beams incorporate a progressive pitch differential, producing interfragmentary compression as the beam is advanced - without lag technique or overdrilling.
45o Chamfer Head Beams allow for flush implant seating with the near cortex, reducing soft tissue irritation. The Flat Head Beams are provided for applications requiring cortical buttressing in osteopenic or thin-cortex bone.
Three forward oriented cutting flutes provide self-drilling and self-tapping function. Fuze Beams are cannulated for use with cobalt chrome (CoCr) guidewires. CoCr wires improve wire stiffness and trajectory retention.
